Menominee's counselors live in a cabin, along with a co-counselor, and 8-12 boys. The major focus of a counselor's job is to insure his camper's safety and to keep abreast of any physical or emotional needs his guys may have. This is done with a sense of excitement and humor, all the while keeping in mind the very important role model status you have at camp. Counselors also will be involved in coaching and/or instructing one or more camp activity.
Other Jobs Available
Other positions available for seasonal employment are: nurses, kitchen staff, housekeepers, and maintenance.
Pre-Camp
All staff are required to attend the full Pre-Camp Training Session. It is very important that the entire staff be present from the beginning to allow us to get off to the best possible start.
