‘Try to learn something about everything and everything about something’             T.H. HUXLEY

We’re having a heat wave! A tropical heat wave. Phew it was hot today! Indeed, it still is. When we called for shower and dip tonight almost everyone in camp jumped in the lake. With the mercury touching 85 up here today, who can blame them. It wasn’t the sunniest of days, but that’s ok.

Monday was a normal day in as much as we did some very normal things. Final Four, Leagues and Canteen. This evening we had the Juniors take an instructional swim while the Seniors played a pick-up basketball game. With the CITs away at the Dells and the Senior cabin out on the town the place seemed kinda quiet.

As I write this the pictures are uploading. I have been sharing the picture duties today in Steve’s absence. Steve and Bari are in the Dells with the CITs and will be back tomorrow night. We are trying to get a hundred or so photos up per day and with this blog we aim to paint as good a picture as possible of life here in Eagle River.

And life here is good, folks, so safely rest.

Goodnight everybody.

As ever…WOODY!
